Cebu Pacific Air Flies Direct Manila-Ozamis

I am so thankful that Cebu Pacific Air is offering direct Manila to Ozamis service to meet the increasing passenger traffic from Ozamis to Manila and vice versa. Air Philippines began its operation over a year ago and now Cebu Pacific Air will begin serving the same route. Cebu Pacific Air announced on their website that on June 16, 2009, four times a week direct Manila-Ozamis flight will kick off. Well, this is one good news for Ozamis City and its neighboring towns. I looked forward for this announcement from Cebu Pacific Air just when Air Philippines began its Manila-Ozamis service over two years ago. With Air Philippines and Cebu Pacific Air servicing the same route, obviously, passengers will benefit the advantage of enjoying low fares. And talking about low fares, Cebu Pacific Air is already offering promotional seat sale which I believe all seats are already sold out by now.

Cebu Pacific Air using their smaller aircraft –ATR-72- is already serving direct Cebu to Ozamis flights. I did took one of this flights last March but upsettingly, my flight was almost 4 hours delayed. PAL Express, the low-cost regional airline brand of Philippine Airlines, is also serving the same route with a Bombardier Turboprop aircraft.
